The perilous state of a weather vane, flapping about in the wind, coupled with the fact that our chimney was due for a sweep caused an urgent search for a sweep in the hope that he would do both jobs. Really helpful I'd been told by a previous sweep that the chimney couldn't be swept and was in need of a liner fitting, a visit for which I was charged. Steve inspected, swept and tested the flue which was lined and in good condition. He then went on to replace a broken chimney pot showing me photographs of the initial¬ problems and the completed work. He was prompt, efficient and completely trustworthy. My log burner is now working really well, I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

Steve has done an absolute first class job working on our very dirty chimneys which hadn't been swept since 1946! He capped off disused chimneys and lined 1 with a solid fuel liner and installed a new stove. He has a wealth of knowledge and helped us choose an appropriate stove for the size of our living room and also carried out repairs to our 2 chimney stacks. He works very efficiently and left the place spotless. We will be using no one else but Steve from now on and have already recommended him to friends and family.
We now have a functioning cooker, heating and hot water!! It is so comfortable in the house now, I never thought I would be able to say that our house is cosy! The fire is lit every day and we are getting a lot of pleasure out of it.
Andy from TW heating said that the plate you made was the best he has ever seen and much better than one they would have made. Also, they now know that flues have to be fitted the right way!

Steve did a fantastic job in opening up my Victorian fireplace and installing a wood burning stove. Unfortunately the original brick arch was not in good enough condition to leave exposed, no problem though as Steve did a lovely job in recreating the arch with reclaimed bricks. He did a very professional job in re plastering the chimney breast and was able to give me just the look I wanted to suit my room. Steve also did some extra re pointing work on my chimney stack and gave me valuable advice for further management.

Having decided we wanted a log burning stove and made a plan
of what fire place design we wanted to end up with we asked a couple of guy's
to quote for the work. The project was obviously too big for the first guy as
he never came back to us whereas in Steve's case you just got the feeling that
he new his business. Steve was employed to create our fireplace and fit our new
log burner. It was evident on his arrival that all the necessary bit's of kit
required to undertake the project he had at his disposal. We discussed in
detail every aspect of what we wanted and Steve has worked to exactly the plan.
The final result is a beautifuly recessed log burner sitting on
a fantastic piece of white and grey marble that forms the whole fireplace, it's
